Scholarship Announcement

The Lincoln Legal Professionals Association is offering a $500 scholarship to a high school senior who plans to enroll in, or a college student currently enrolled in, a business school, community college, college or university.  The student must have a grade point average of “B” or above.

Please inform your students of the availability of these funds.  The scholarship funds shall be paid directly to the school or institution of the winner’s choice for enrollment thirty days after the beginning of the fall semester.  If the winner is unable to meet the criteria above, the award shall go to the runner-up.

An application form and confidential reference form are enclosed for completion by interested students.  Please note the specific requirements of completion:

1. The Application Form

2. The Confidential Reference Form

3. An Original Transcript of Grades; and

4. The Applicant’s Statement indicating why they are pursuing a legal education.

Feel free to make copies of these materials as needed.

Please urge the applicants to give special attention to the use of correct grammar, punctuation and spelling, as these will be considered in the judging procedures.

All entries MUST be received by March 15, 2011.  Each entry should be sent to:
